Goa University started Ph.D. admission 2022 today 8th March 2022 for various streams in Science, Technology, Commerce and others. The last date is 25th March 2022.
The non-NET candidates, who qualified GU-PET (Goa University Ph.D. Entrance Test) in December 2020 and August 2021 are also eligible to apply.
The selection process will take into account 70% weightage from GU-PET or MPhil/NET/SET/JRF/SLET/JEST/ICAR/ICMR-NET/GATE/GPAT etc., and rest 30% weightage will be for the interview and/or viva-voce.

GU Ph.D. Admission 2022 Eligibility
| Master’s Degree or Equivalent with at least 55% marks |
| 5% relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/others) |
| Subject of research should related to the main branch of candidate’s postgraduate degree |
| Candidates can apply maximum of three subjects |
| Candidates should have qualified GU-PET held in December 2020 and August 2021 or MPhil/CSIR-UGC/UGC-NET JRF/Lectureship, SET/SLET/JEST/ICAR-NET examination of different Indian States / GATE with a valid certificate / DST Inspire Fellowship |
| Qualified Senior Citizens are exempted from appearing in Ph.D. Entrance Test |
