JEE Mains 2022 registrations on jeemain.nta.nic.in started on 1st March 2022, and the last date to register is set at 31st March 2022.
Moreover, this year JEE Mains 2022 exams will be conducted in two sessions. The first session registration has just started and exams will be conducted for it in April 2022.
The second session exams will be conducted in the month of May 2022, and separate registrations will be conducted for it.
The candidates will also get opportunity to apply to both sessions. NTA has done this to reduce the drop year candidates due to failure in the first attempt.
Furthermore, NTA decided to provide choices in one section of each subject of Paper 1 and Part I of Paper 2A and 2B to cater to the decision of different Boards in India.
However the total number of questions to be attempted will remain the same that are – 25 Physics questions, 25 Chemistry questions and 25 Mathematics questions.
Moreover, NTA this year enhanced security due to last year episode of cheating scam in JEE Mains 2021. Now, candidates will be allotted exam center as per their city. In addition, candidates will have to verify their mobile number for online application.
